The most inaccessible but also the most magical beach of Limassol. It is located at the site below the sanctuary of Apollo Ylata, at the bay of Episkopi. For this reason, it is also called Apollon beach, and for many it is known as the bay of Tripiti or Zalos bay. Walking a distance of about 20 kilometers from the city of Limassol to the westernmost parts of the province, one can enjoy the special image of this coast. The steep cliffs, full of greyhound nests, are also one of the elements that give a distinct, wild charm to the landscape, especially when you look at the view from above. Very often - especially in winter, when weather conditions are inadequate - access to the beach is closed and generally, the downhill to Zapalos Bay is a challenge because of the uneven terrain. The descent to this beach consists only of experienced drivers, with a vehicle suitable for mountain routes.
