Gulf of Pissouri, 30 km west of Limassol (in the middle of the distance between Limassol and Paphos), is the tourist resort of Pissouri village. The coast has seen its popularity skyrocketed due to its astonishing natural beauty and facilities now in the area. The beach has fine, golden sand, colorful pebbles and its clear waters are relatively calm. The surroundings are further enhanced by the spectacular white rocks of Cape White on both sides, making it one of the most picturesque coasts of the island. The sea is suitable for swimming but also for water sports. It is a relatively safe coastline, although it is deeply skewed, guarded by a lifeguard. The bay at Pissouri has many different faces and can cover all preferences and moods. Whether you prefer an organized beach, looking for something quieter and secluded, looking for action, or preferring relaxation, you will be able to find what suits it. At the eastern and western end of the gulf rise tall rocks that descend to the waves, creating smaller bays that can be reached by crossing these rocks.
