The one kilometer long beach of Kourion, located in the Bay of Episkopi, the largest area of Limassol, is particularly impressive thanks to the natural color palette and its royal and ancient history. The delineated area for swimming has an extremely long shore, consisting of sand and pebbles. The waters are crystal and the various shades of blue create a beautiful contrast to the white hills around. From April to October there are lifeguards with lifeguard equipment and first aid services. One of the most famous archaeological monuments of the island - the ancient Kourion - is very close and worth a visit, especially the wonderful Greek-Roman amphitheater where cultural events are taking place today.
